The takeoff is expected early in the morning or in the evening whereas these are the calmest and coolest parts of the day; this allows for soft landings and maximum lifting capacity of the balloon.  Launching time varies depending upon the season and the clients will know it at the moment of the flight reservation.

The passengers have to be at the takeoff site 45 minutes before: in this way they can assist to the inflation operations of the balloon that are very interesting and suggestive.

The tour includes an hour flight over our beautiful countryside; the maximum high limit is 2000 feet.

Once aloft you will notice no turbulence or wind movement as you become one with the air currents. The feeling is one of peace as you drift over treetops and float over the countryside in gentle, panoramic harmony with nature. 

It’s possible to take off  directly from some hotels of the Province (Palace Hotel, Hotel Residence Montelago, Casa Don Guanella, Ata Hotel, Hotel Capolago) or from other areas of scenic interest.

Even in this case, it will be confirmed at the moment of reservation.

The balloon flight will be accompanied by a ground vehicle that will follow the balloon until the landing and that will carry back passengers at departure place, after balloon was deflated.

Different types of balloons can be used, depending the number of passengers.

We also have the ability to fly multiple balloons for groups who would like to share this unique experience!

The confirmation of the fly will be given 36 hours before the fixed date, when the final weather condition will be known. In case of bad weather the flight will be postponed and the new date will be communicated to passengers.

The landing place can’t be defined before the flight because only wind determines balloon’s direction and speed: the pilot can steer a balloon, to a limited extend, by adjusting the balloon’s altitude to make use of different wind speeds and direction.

Flight price start from 220 Euros per person according the number of passengers and the balloon used; souvenir flight certificate included.

Passengers are encouraged to wear comfortable clothes and shoes: you may bring cameras, video camera and binocular.
