Day 2 GENEVA– ZERMATT

Day 3 – ZERMATT – GORNEGRAT* - STRESA

Its sunny viewing platform, accessible all year, makes the Gornergrat ridge a top destination, and not just because of its altitude. Surrounded by 29 peaks rising to above 4000 m and by Switzerland’s greatest mountain and second longest glacier in the Alps, it offers a spectacular mountain panorama second to none. And the «Matterhorn Railway» renders it so close you can almost touch it. Departing from Zermatt, Europe ‘s highest open-air cog railway has travelled up onto the Gornergrat, at 3089 meters a.s.l., since 1898. Day 4 - STRESA – BORROMEAN ISLANDS - LUGANO
Breakfast at your hotel. Meet your English-speaking guide, boarding on the private boat and departure for a short cruise on the Borromean Gulf. From the boat, you ‘ll can enjoy beautiful view of Palace and gardens of Isola Bella. Built beginning in 1632, the palace and the gardens of Isola Bella is one of the most important attractions of Lake Maggiore. After the visit continue by boat to the “Isola dei Pescatori”. Short walk on the island, occupied almost entirely by an old village with narrow winding cobbled streets full of charm, preserves the flavor of an ancient town. Will follows the boat tour around Isola Madre, and way back to Stresa. Lunch on your own. In the afternoon departure by private car to Lugano (Switzerland). Day 5 – LUGANO – LUCERNE
Breakfast at your hotel. Meet your English-speaking guide and visit of the town that lying on the banks of the homonymous lake. The pedestrian area, very suggestive, preserves the historical center rich of marvelous buildings such as the Cathedral of S. Lorenzo and the Church of Santa Maria degli Angeli, whose interiors preserve the most famous renaissance fresco in the Switzerland, a Luini masterpiece. On the banks of the lake the park of the town, Parco Ciani, considered one of the most beautiful in the Switzerland. Along the paths there are many rare and exotic plants. Lunch at your own. Day 6 – LUCERNE– INTERLAKEN

DAY 7 - Jungfraujoch - Top of Europe (3454m/11333ft) –

Interlaken Ost - Lauterbrunnen - Kleine Scheidegg - Jungfraujoch - Grindelwald - Interlaken Ost.
This unique round-trip by modern cogwheel railway takes you first to Kleine Scheidegg, altitude 2061 metres, at the foot of the notorious Eiger North Wall. From here the Jungfrau Railway climbs to the station at Eigergletscher, well known for its mountain restaurant and polar dog kennels. The trip continues through the Eiger tunnel to the stations at Eigerwand and Eismeer, with a five-minute halt at each. Enjoy spectacular sightseeing through large observation windows hewn from solid Alpine rock.
