DAY 1: VENICE APT / VENICE
Arrival at Venice airport. Meet & greet. Transfer by your own to the hotel downtown Venice. Accommodation in double room on B&B basis. Time at leisure and overnight.
DAY 2: VENICE HOTEL / CORTINA D’AMPEZZO (DOLOMITES)
Breakfast at your hotel, transfer to S. Lucia railway and departure by regional train to Venice Mestre. Departure by public bus to Cortina d’Ampezzo (about 2 hours and half journey time). Accommodation at your hotel downtown Cortina on bob basis. Time at leisure and overnight.
DAY 3: DOLOMITES TOUR
Breakfast at your hotel. Meet your English-speaking drive/guide and departure for a full day excursion to explore Italy's impressive Dolomites mountain range, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The highlights of the tour include Lake Misurina, Lake Santa Caterina, the foothills of Tre Cime di Lavaredo and Cortina d'Ampezzo. Your driver/guide will give you all information about the area and will stop to show you the best places of Dolomites (ancient villages, falls, panoramic view). Lunch on your own. At the end, back to the hotel and overnight.
DAY 4: CORTINA - FLORENCE
Breakfast at your hotel. In the morning departure by public bus to Venice rail station. Continuation by fast train to Florence. Accommodation at your hotel on B&B basis. Afternoon at leisure to visit Florence. Overnight.
DAY 5: SAN GIMIGNANO - CHIANTISHIRE - SIENA
Breakfast at your hotel. In the morning meet the tour leader in front of rail station and departure by private bus towards San Gimignano, a perfectly preserved medieval town declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco. At the end of the visit departure along the scenic roads of the Chianti where you will enjoy a wine tasting and light lunch consisting of typical Tuscan products. The tour goes on to Siena, the city of the Palio horserace. The itinerary includes the old town centre, which will take you to the city’s most important monuments and squares such as Piazza del Campo, where the Palio horse race takes place, and Piazza del Duomo, where you can admire the magnificent Cathedral. After time at leisure in Siena, you’ll return to Florence
DAY 6: FLORENCE – ROME
In the morning departure by fast train to Rome. Accommodation at your hotel on B&b Basis. Afternoon at leisure to visit Rome. Overnight.
DAY 7: ROME
Breakfast at your hotel. Meet the English speaking in front of the main entrance of Vatican museum. Founded by Pope Julius II in the early 16th century and enlarged by successive pontiffs, the Vatican Museums boast one of the world's greatest art collections. Exhibits, which are displayed along about 7km of halls and corridors, range from Egyptian mummies and Etruscan bronzes to ancient busts, old masters and modern paintings. Highlights include the spectacular collection of classical statuary in the Museo Pio-Clementino, a suite of rooms frescoed by Raphael, and the Michelangelo-painted Sistine Chapel, built in XV century by Pope Sixtus and adorned by Michelangelo, Botticelli, Perugino and Ghirlandaio. Will follow the entrance St. Peter’s Basilica the largest Church all over the world. Here you’ll admire "The Pietà" Michelangelo’s masterpiece carved when he was only 24 years old. Lunch at you own. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight
DAY 7: Departure from Rome
Transfer by private car to Fiumicino Airport. End of services.
