Day 1: Lake Maggiore

Arriving by your own car to the Lake Maggiore. Accommodation at the farmhouse not far from lake shores. Lunch and dinner at your own. Overnight.


Day 2: Lake Maggiore

Breakfast at the farmhouse. Day at leisure for optional tours and excursions.

RECOMMENDED: Visit the 3 Borromean Islands. In Stresa boarding on private boat toward Bella’s isle. Visit the baroque palace of the '600 and the charming garden that has made the isle famous. Continue to Pescatori Isle (Fisherman Isle Superior), occupied almost entirely by an old village with narrow winding cobbled streets that preserves the magical atmosphere. Free lunch or in restaurant. In the afternoon boarding on private boat to Isola Madre, the largest of the Borromeo islands and the most characteristic for the atmosphere of silence. Way back  to Stresa by private boat and drive to the farm. Dinner at your own and overnight.


Day 3Lake Maggiore – Lake Orta and Lake Como

Breakfast at the farmhouse. Morning free for sightseeing and optional excursions

RECOMMENDED: SANTA CATERINA DEL SASSO: Old and charming hermitage overlooking Lake Maggiore, preserves important pictorial evidence of the '300. BORROMEAN CASTLE: Properties of the Borromeo family (the same as the islands) and situated in a dominant position, the fortress is the most important castle of Lake Maggiore. ORTA LAKE: The most romantic of the lakes. Besides to the interesting old town not to be missed the trip to the Island of San Giulio, with its magical atmosphere rich in spirituality. Visit the ancient Roman basilica and beautiful basreliefs of the XII century, preserved in it. Walk along the path of Silence, traveled in reverse, it becomes ofMeditation, whose signs call for an interior journey which involves listening and exploration. Departure by your own towards the Como Lake. Accommodation in a farmhouse on the hills above the lake. Lunch and dinner at your own. Overnight at the farm.


Day 4:  Lake Como

Breakfast at the farmhouse. Day at leisure for optional tours and excursions.

RECOMMENDED: Boarding on the public boat and depart for the cruise on the lake. The lake banks in Como are bordered by several villas of 18th century surrounded by marvellous gardens that are witnesses of the charm of the area during the centuries influencing painters and poets. Way back by to Como by boat and then proceed to the farmhouse by your own car. Dinner at your own  and overnight.



Day 5:  Lake Garda

Breakfast at the farmhouse. Departure by your own car to the Garda lake.

RECOMMENDED: on the way stop at Lake Iseo for a visit to Monte Isola, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy,  a mountain in an island occupied by old fishing villages that time has jealously guarded. At the end way back on the mainland where we recommend to stop in a well-known farmhouse where you can taste traditional foods and wine (Franciacorta area) . After,  the tour goes on towards   Lake Garda ;  accommodation in a farmhouse, located few miles from the lake. Dinner free. Overnight at the farmhouse.


Day 6: Garda Lake cruise

Breakfast at the farmhouse. Day at leisure for sightseeing and optional excursions. 

RECOMMENDED: With your own car reach Desenzano. Embarkation on the  public boat and departure to Sirmione, renowned for the  remains of the Roman Villa, called "Grotte di Catullo", which is located on the peninsula, and the Scaliger Castle, a fortress with drawbridge, towers and battlements. After continuing by boat to Gardone Riviera. Free lunch and visit to the residence of Gabriele D'Annunzio, “the Italian Vittoriale”. Way back by boat to  Desenzano, dinner free and overnight at the farmhouse.


Day 7 :  from   Lake Garda  to Prosecco hills

Breakfast at the farmhouse. Departure by your own car to the Prosecco hills area (Treviso). Along the way you can’t miss two fabulous places :  ASOLO, “Town of a hundred horizons” loved by poets and artists. In the  town centre, the House of Eleonora Duse can be visited, followed by the medieval Church of S. Anna (16th century).

POSSAGNO, birthplace of the great neoclassical sculptor Antonio Canova with Gipsoteca built at his death to house the material coming from the Rome artist's studio,  and the Temple, an imposing neoclassical building which enhances the Greek civilization, Latin and Christian solemnity. Accommodation in a farmhouse, located in the foothills , halfway between Valdobbiadene (Prosecco capital)  and Conegliano Veneto. Free dinner (don’t miss the typical dinner of the restaurant of farmhouse) and overnight


Day 8: Prosecco hills

Breakfast at the farmhouse. Day at leisure for sightseeing and optional excursions. Visit Follina with it  famous Cistercian Abbey, dating from the twelfth century, one of the most important examples of Romanesque architecture tending to late-Gothic, in the Marca territory. Stop for wine tasting and visit of a winery in the area with the possibility of purchase. In the afternoon visit the "Molinetto della Croda" in Refrontolo, an ancient watermill fully restored and placed in an area of rare beauty. Tasting Passito of Refrontolo mentioned by Mozart in the "Don Giovanni. Conegliano, a town with very elegant features, and  many interesting art proofs.  Don’t miss  the arcades of the Scuola S. Maria dei Battuti (14th century). The arcades constitute also the façade of Duomo (1354). The main altar inside is enriched by a piece by Gianbattista Cima.



Breakfast at the farmhouse. Departure for Treviso: its special atmosphere, the streets with arcades, rivers Sile and Botteniga, its buildings are a precious blend of considerable importance. Piazza dei Signori, the city center, the Palace of the fourteenth century, Calmaggiore the bustling street of Old Town, The Cathedral and the Church of San Francesco, the Fish, the Channel Buranelli are some of its most precious jewels.
